• An increasing number of buyers and sellers, including first-timers in both categories, are foregoing the use of an agent altogether.
• There is a growing trend toward going self-service.
• This trend will continue unless agents and the companies they represent change their ways.
In our opinion, Realtors are always going to play an important role in the process BUT strategies need to be adjusted in this new age in order to continue to be successful.
Real estate professionals that focus on building relationships and providing value beyond listing data (as opposed to just waiting for the phone to ring) are the ones that consumers want to work with now.
