Once again, Zillow is making waves in the real estate industry. After opening its Mortgage division, Zillow has now announced plans to hire its own agents to facilitate the Zillow Homes initiatives.
“The tech companies said they wouldn’t compete with you, but in fact they are, and they’re doubling down every step of the way.”
So what can Realtors and Loan Professionals do about it? Here is our take:
It’s a race to who can get to the customer and build trust and rapport first. Real estate has always been and will always be a relationship-based business. Home buying is more than just pushing a few buttons.
Real Estate professionals need to get their message and value across to the customer way early in the process, even before they think of buying a home.
